On Sunday, Missy Robertson teased a big announcement regarding her husband, Jase, and his iconic beard. All we knew at that point was that Jase was willing to shave his facial hair in support of a fundraiser for his daughter’s charity. Well, now we have the details.
In appearances on Fox Wednesday morning, the couple announced that if they can raise $100,000 for daughter Mia’s cleft lip and palate foundation, Mia Moo, Jase will take a razor to his face.
“100 percent of the donations will go to the children,” Missy said.
Jase said it’s been eight years since his last shave and haircut, and that it was so different his daughter didn’t even recognize him.

Mia was born with a cleft lip and palate, and fans have followed her journey over the last few years. In 2014, she underwent a bone graft surgery.
“When Mia was born we were living paycheck to paycheck and we decided to go into debt in order to receive the best possible care for our child,” Missy says on the organization’s website. “Our wish is to alleviate that stress for other families through the Mia Moo Fund.”
